Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe
Welcome To Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe
Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe is a community of songwriters writing, singing, and performing, predominantly in the Indianapolis area.
As a community we get together, sing together and share our experiences together.
But don’t worry if you’re not in Indianapolis. From Minnesota to Milwaukee, Indianapolis to Idaho, we welcome any musicians who would like to join us in our community and showcase their talents.
To make updating Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe easier from now I have converted the old site into a new blog.
If you have an upcoming gig and you want to promote it, or you feel like you want to say something to the community, then please register at the blog, it’s dead easy to do, and then you will be able to publish your words, pictures, songs and even videos.
All postings will be monitored and I reserve the right to refuse publication, but if it’s genuine content then I would love to see more contribution.
If you’re not sure how to publish to a blog, drop me a note at Ian @ IndianapolisSongwritersCafe.com (without the spaces before and after the @ symbol – that’s just to try and thwart the spammers), and I’ll talk you through it.
What I’d love to see on Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe are items such as jamming sessions, videos of these, any articles from individuals or bands, and generally great music and community.
I’ve been on my travels recently and was in England where I came across a group of Morecambe builders who had formed a band and they played some pretty good numbers. I took some video and I hope to upload it soon so I can get your reaction to them.
I will be updating the old pages over the next few days as I transfer them over to this blog style, but in the meantime here is a list of the more popular pages. Please note that these are static pages and not blog pages like the rest of Indianapolis Songwriters cafe so the look of them is very different.
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing lots of your videos and anecdotes.
For now, as always, take care.
Ian
